So much for democracy !

How come that African leaders have only just started muttering about Mugabe ?
Zimbawe has been ruled by a tyrant for years and the rest of the world let it happen, including Zimbawe's neighbours.
The labour party have known about it and make to odd remark as do the other two party's but nothing is ever done.
Maybe if the picture we saw of the poor old woman with an ink stained finger to indicate that she had voted had been of an oil rich fem, the powers that be would have sent tanks in , guns blazing !

So much for democracy !

Agreed it is disgusting how the other african leaders have been docile in the response if any has bee given at all. i have been so infuriated by it all i feel that i have even switched off as i feel I am powerless to do anything about it. Could this be the same attitude of neigbouring leaders? Maybe there is hidden benefit for them to stay quiet. I May be ignorant but i just do not get it.

There are a quite few things that politicians do that we don't understand Joanne, don't worry you are not on your own in not understanding them.
The only thing I think we should know, is that everything they do is for their own benefit, and not for any other reason.
I detest politicians as you can probably tell LOL.
History has proven that people only take so much and then they have nothing left to lose.
After years of tyrany by any Government people would rather die than live under the whip of oppression.
GOD sees all, He will wipe every tear from their eyes.
Rob.
