UKIP Blame Smoke ban for pub Closures

UKIP the United Kingdom Independence Party have seen the carnage that has been caused to the 'Hospitality Industry'

Reasonable people everywhere realise that the smoke ban isn't for the good of the people, or the health of the nation, but an attack on civil rights of certain groups within society.

In using this bigoted legislation the pubs are closing not just for smokers, but non smokers as well.
The self righteous who tried to silence the voice of the people on this subject have been caught unaware of the depth of feeling on this subject.
A very small but very vocal minority thought they had won a great victory on this one but no.

Everywhere there is a huge upsurge of indignance at the arrogance of the anti smoking lobby, something that was always going to happen.
I encourage no one to smoke, rather the contrary I urge people to abstain or quit.
This ban only infuriates smokers into smoking more to spit in the eye of those who have faults a lot worse than smoking but can be hidden from society.
The nature of addiction is such that such attempts at idiotic things like a smoke ban or price increases on tobacco only hurt people who are wanting to give up anyway.

If the Government want to help smokers they should drop the price of tobacco to stop illegal importation of cigarettes.
They should licence smokers only pubs to give people the right to fresh air.
And stop preaching at people who already know the rights and wrongs of smoking.
Only through the same kind of help that drug users get can this addiction be beaten.
Only when a person is ready to give up are they ready to be helped/
You can lead a horse to water, but you cant make it drink.
No one should underestimate the addictive qualities of cigarettes, if it were so easy to stop why do so many carry on smoking ?
The worst kind of anti smoker is an ex smoker believe it or not they are evangelical in their approach in the battle against smokers and why?
Anyone who has smoked and was truly addicted knows how hard it is to get off the dreaded weed.
They should remember and use a little more compassion rather than humiliation to brow beat smokers into submission.
With common sense we could see smoking obliterated for all time, but not this way smoke bans do nothing but infuriate.
