Labour have lost the plot

Labour have lost the plot
Rob Layton.

Some people may not like my politics, but to be honest I don't have any.
Who would want to be a politician ?
Well some would I suppose, that's if you a born liar with a power complex and a huge ego.
I naively thought that there must be some good in some of them somewhere, but as time drags on I find that increasingly hard to believe.

What kind of unthinking, uncaring, person would even think to rob the poor of these Islands any more than they have been doing all these years ?
To take the money off the poorest of these Islands shows the lack of compassion and inhuman degradation that we have become so used to in our politicians.

If you look at the other story in the news today you will see that this Government has had compassion on the banking industry to the tune of approx £50 billion pounds.
Now as I said I am no politician and I don't understand a lot of things but isn't this back to front.
It seems to me that the poorest are bailing out the 'Fat Cats' rather than go with a begging bowl to the Stock market.
SHAME ON YOU LABOUR

Another thing I heard today made my blood boil !
We heard that a dear lady who works in our local shop died suddenly the other evening, I must add that we don't know the circumstances yet but she was found dead at home.
She was relatively young in her late forties to early fifties.
We all loved her and it came as a shock to find out that her husband who is a really nice chap was taken to the police station shortly after her death.

I was shocked because I didn't know that this is standard procedure or so I have been told.
Perhaps someone could enlighten me on why it is that a person who is grieving the death of a loved one who has died suddenly should be treated in this way.
Is this just standard procedure for men ?

I can understand that there are people who commit crimes and would benefit a small amount by giving time to people to grieve but doesn't decency demand that for the majority of men they should have the right to grieve in the privacy of the family home ?
Why should the vast majority of decent men in this country suffer because of a tiny minority of men that have done wrong ?
I don't know if this information regarding procedure in these cases is correct but if it is it should be changed and quickly.
There I have said enough.
I leave you till next time.
Rob Layton
